Seawolf Dining & Catering, in partnership with Brother Francis Shelter, proudly hosted a successful community event, Spoonful of Support, aimed at providing a warm, nourishing meal to those experiencing food scarcity, homelessness, and poverty.
Held at Brother Francis Shelter, the event was made possible through the generosity and collaboration of Seawolf Dining and the University of Alaska Anchorage community. Seawolf Dining & Catering prepared a hearty pasta dinner, while UAA employees eagerly volunteered to contribute sides, including fresh bread, salads, and delicious desserts. The volunteer sign-up filled within just days of being posted — a true testament to the compassion and community spirit of UAA staff.
Together, the efforts of Seawolf Dining, Brother Francis Shelter, and the UAA volunteers helped serve over 150 individuals, offering not just a meal, but a sense of comfort, dignity, and connection.
Building on the success of this event, Seawolf Dining and Brother Francis Shelter are already planning another Spoonful of Support for the fall. Seawolf Dining remains committed to creating meaningful partnerships and initiatives that strengthen and uplift the community we serve.
